The next meeting of the Service Improvement & Finance Panel will take place at 11.00am on Wednesday January 20th 2016 in Committee Room 3a at the Guildhall.
Scrutiny Councillors will be looking at 2 main items on the agenda, this includes the 2nd Quarter Performance Monitoring Report and the 2nd Quarter Budget Monitoring Report.
Richard Rowlands, Corporate Improvement Manager will present the 2nd Quarter Performance Monitoring Report to the Panel. This report presents the performance results for the second quarter of 2015/16 delivering the Council’s key priorities described in the Corporate Plan. Scrutiny Councillors will consider and review the performance results for Quarter 2 2015/16 including Policy Commitments alongside the current financial situation of the Council.
The 2nd Quarter Budget Monitoring Report will be presented to the Panel by Ben Smith Chief Accountant. The report details forecast variations from the agreed budget for 2015/16, including the latest assessment of the delivery of savings. This will provide Panel members with a chance to consider the report in more depth and will assist them to understand the latest position with regard to the budget 2015/16.
