The Service Improvement & Finance Scrutiny Performance Panel will be meeting at 1.30pm on Wednesday 12 August (Committee Room 3a, Guildhall). The role of the Panel is to scrutinise the Council’s corporate performance, service improvement and budget arrangements.
On the agenda this week is not one but two Q&A sessions, the first session with Councillor Mark Child, Cabinet Member for Wellbeing & Healthy City. The second session is with Councillor Clive Lloyd, Cabinet Member for Transformation & Performance. The purpose of these sessions is to specifically focus on the achievement and impact of the savings targets for 2014/15 within both the Wellbeing & Healthy City and the Transformation & Performance portfolios.
The Panel will also have an overview and update about Parks & Gardens, which will include how this area is progressing, specific activities and achievements and what are the challenges for the next 12 months ?
