The Cabinet Member for Place, Councillor June Burtonshaw, will be appearing before the Scrutiny Programme Committee on 17 February for a question and answer session.
The committee will explore the work she has done in her role, looking at priorities, actions, achievements and impact. They would welcome your ideas for questions.
The Place portfolio includes the following areas of responsibility:
- Council Housing and Welsh Housing Quality Standard
- Planning – Development Control, Local Development Plan (LDP)
- Housing Strategy
- Transport and Highways
- Waste Management
- Healthy City Centre
- Stronger and Safer Communities
Is there anything that you think the committee should ask her? Any suggestions made before 17 February will be looked at by the committee in developing its questioning strategy and the key ones will be put to Councillor Burtonshaw.
