It’s been a while since we blogged about the public transport scrutiny inquiry, we thought we’d better provide an update on progress.
The panel has been really busy gathering evidence from people and organisations who are linked with public transport provision or who are experts in the field.
The panel has held a number of question and answer sessions with Council officers, First Cymru, Arriva Trains Wales, the Community Transport Association, Professor Stuart Cole, West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive and has attended a First Cymru Customer Panel.
Over the next month the panel will consult with public transport users, including disabled public transport users and young parents.
The panel will consider all of the inquiry findings in early April with the aim of publishing a final report and recommendations towards the end of April.
